Hot Stuff #002 – October

With ADE over and The 5:15 team back in full swing, we thought of no better way to kick things off than our monthly selection of Hot Stuff gems.

Disco shoes at the ready.  Last time around we had songs both old and new that were infused with the groove and attitude that we all love, and this month is no different.  Make sure to vote for which one has you dancing the most below.

Rabo & Snob – Let You Know

Mike – “Israel-based disco dons Rabo & Snob serve up a struttin’ slice of funk.  The perfect track for building up your set, and to provide those fists in the air moments when that bass line kicks back in again after the breakdown.”

Dukwa – Thoughts (feat Mar-G)

Liam – “Not strictly ‘Disco’ again with my selection this month, but I just can’t look past this as my shout. The disco-infused flavour to this chilled multi-genre house track has been on repeat in my head for the past few weeks after resurfacing in the build up to my setlist for ADE.”

Grace Jones – Pull Up To The Bumper (Joey Negro Remix)

Josh – “When my Grandad first gave me his old technics turntable I had no records to listen to on it so my Dad went up in the loft and pulled down the iconic ‘Nightclubbing’ album from Grace Jones. I loved the original but this Joey Negro rework is absolutely incredible for playing in a club setting and really does justice to such an amazing record.”
